Book Review: Diary of a Wimpy kid (9) The Long Haul


Hello there! It's me Nabil and I'm here to tell you my review on the ninth book in the Diary of a Wimpy kid: The Long Haul. There was a movie based on this book as well but today I'm only going to review the book.  So, without further a do let's begin!




I found the book in the library when I was trying to find an interesting book I could read. I was walking by when I noticed the book and thought I should try it. The long haul was the fifth book I've read in the diary of a wimpy kid's series.

This book is about when Greg and his family go on a road trip. On the road trip Greg and his family face a lot of troubles.

When Greg's car gets stuck in a traffic jam, Greg really needs to go to the restroom so he decides to go out of the car and go to the nearest gas station. After he goes he tries to find his car and notices that it has gone ahead a little bit. He goes inside but he realizes he went in the wrong car.

He then notices that his car is actually a few miles back and walks to his car. After a while they reach a county fair and decide to stop there to find some food!



As they're walking in fair they decide to try some games as well. Greg finds a corn dog and buys it and then he eats it because he is extremely hungry. His little brother Manny and his mom decide to join a contest. The contest was about trying to guess the weight of a baby pig. The prize was the baby pig! There were a lot of people and none of them guessed the exact weight of the pig, but magically Manny did!

Manny really wanted the pig and when he won he grabbed the pig and told his mom to get Greg and Rodrick and get back to the car. When they went back Manny showed his dad the pig he got but his dad wasn't fine with it and argued with mom for a while. Then Dad agreed and they tried to find a motel to stay in.

Along the way Greg gets bitten by the pig and they visit a vet. The vet says it won't cause an infection and puts a plaster on the bite. After that Greg keeps imagining that he'll turn into a pig human hybrid.

They find a motel but the only room there was, was full of cigarette burns and other dirty stuff like used towels and some more cigarettes. They ask for a refund but the lady says they can't get refunds so they have to sleep there for the night. After that they decide to end the road trip and go back home with the pig!

6 Games I Despise on Roblox

Today, I'll be writing about 6 games I despise on Roblox. I love Roblox but sometimes the games are weird and bad.So, without further a-do , let's start!😁😁😁 6. Mad City  I don't like Mad City because it's basically Jailbreak but with Super heroes. I personally think it's not really realistic enough. But it's not that bad and that's why it's last on this list.       5. Adopt and Raise a Baby I'm pretty sure we all hate this game. The concept of the game is just plainly weird. You have to adopt a baby and buy a home. I guess its not that bad but personally I despise it a lot. 4. Roblox Water Park  I know this game isn't too bad but it gets boring after a while because all you do is ride water slides and like I mentioned it gets really,  really boring. 3. Strucid How many times must I say this?! I hate Fortnite and that is why I hate Strucid. Strucide is literally just a copy cat of Fortnite.
